Popular actor Yogi Babu, who is widely known for his comedy roles, celebrates his 37th birthday on Friday - July 22 and in the midst of a wave of wishes, the actor has relished his fans with a big update from his next project. In what has been touted to be Yogi Babu's another promising film after 'Mandela', the first look poster of his upcoming movie 'Bommai Nayagi' was unveiled on Friday.
The movie team officially wrapped up their shoot last November and while Yogi Babu plays the lead role, Subhadra, Hari Krishnan, GM Kumar, and SS Stanley play important roles. Bommai Nayagi is bankrolled by filmmaker Pa Ranjith under his banner Neelam Productions. It is written and directed by Shan, who is making his directorial debut through this movie.
Yogi Babu already proved his acting performance by crossing the fence of comic role, in the socialistic political satire film, ‘Mandela’. This upcoming flick is also reported to be a tale about the father and daughter relationship, which speak about the reality of education, and society affects their family.
On Friday, celebrating the actor’s birthday, the official Neelam Production, took us to twitter and shared its first look, which features Yogi Babu and his daughter from the film, sporting a fisherman look and seating on a boat, surfing at the sea. The production house wrote, “Presenting the First Look of #BommaiNayagi starring @iYogiBabu #BommaiNayagiFirstLook #HBDYogiBabu."
This poster was shared on the day when Paa Ranjith marked his 10th year of film journey and the first anniversary of his directorial ‘Sarpattai Parambarai’ which featured Arya, Pasupathi, Kalayarasan in the lead role. The first-look posters have been going viral as thousands of fans extend their warm wishes for the comedian on his 37th birthday.
