Gautham Menon is currently shooting for Leo under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj where Vijay and Trisha playing the lead. Apart from this, Gautham will also appear in Viduthalai alongside Vijay Sethupathi for director Vetrimaran. After the massive success of his last year's directorial Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Part 1: The Kindling, in which Silambarasan starred, comes word that the elegant director is already hard at work on his next project.
Nonetheless, word on the street is that Gautham has shelved the sequel of Vendhu Thanindhathu in favour of another potent script. The rumour mill has it that both Vijay Sethupathi and Abhishekh Bachchan have expressed interest in the unknown project and negotiations have begun to cast them in it. In the coming weeks, hopefully, the massive pan-Indian project will be officially announced.
If this buzz came true, the combo will be so exciting to see as the Farzi actor Vijay Sethupathi just set his leg in Bollywood projects. Meanwhile Bollywood icon Abhishek Bachchan will appear next in "Ghoomer," directed by R. Balki, with Saiyami Kher. The actor also appears briefly in the film 'Bholaa,' starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi will also appear in Atlee's Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and will star opposite Katrina Kaif in 'Merry Christmas.'
Shooting on the much-delayed of film 'Dhruva Natchathiram,' directed by Gautham Menon and starring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rajesh, is now complete. The release of the action thriller is scheduled for the latter part of the year. The movie score was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film was directed by Manoj Paramahamsa and shot by Jomon T. John, Santhana Krishnan, and Ravichandran. Praveen Antony edited the film.
