In an unprecedented fashion that can be easily found on the sea of directors, legendary filmmaker Shankar joins the rare club where his children are grooming themselves as actors. While Shankar's daughter Aditi is inching closer to sparkle on the big screen as a debut actress, the director's son Arjith is all set to make his debut as an actor and his first movie will hit the floors of shooting in the coming days.
According to reports, Arjith Shankar is preparing to unleash his career in acting on a big project. The sources say that he will be making his debut as an actor soon in the movie that will be directed by Balaji Sakthivel, who was a former associate director with Shankar. Balaji was known for his movies 'Kadha' and 'Vazhakku En 18/9'. Shankar's son Arjith has been trained in acting and filmmaking and will be playing a unique role.
The announcement regarding the same will be made soon. Shankar's daughter Aditi will be making her acting debut by playing the female lead in the movie 'Viruman', which is getting closer to the release. Viruman is bankrolled by Suriya and Jyothika under their own banner 2D Entertainment and it is helmed by M Muthaiah. While Karthi plays the lead role, Aditi Shankar will be the female lead, and Prakash Raj, Soori, and Rajkiran will be playing important roles, and Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music.
The entire shooting of the film was completed on December 22, 2021, and the movie team is busy with the post-production works. On the work front, director Shankar is currently directing Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja in the movie that has been tentatively named 'RC15'. It is produced by Dil Raju and after this movie, Shankar will be resuming the shooting of 'Indian 2' starred by Kamal Haasan and he will also be working on the Hindi remake of Anniyan, starring Ranveer Singh.
