Finally...'Valimai' update from Boney Kapoor!

Finally, after a long wait, Boney Kapoor has found a time to speak about 'Valimai', and though it was an incessant delay, the fans of Thala Ajith are very much glad that the movie is getting close to hitting the big screens. In what has become a huge announcement, Kapoor has divulged the relishing news to Ajith fans who are excited to watch 'Thala' on the big screens after a long time.

In an interview with Forbes on his acting and upcoming movies, producer Boney Kapoor has shared the update about Ajith's next 'Valimai' during which he asserted that the post-production of the movie will start soon. He said, "The entire filming will be over by February 15, 2021, barring one stunt sequence to be shot overseas. Post-production will start soon. The release date is to be finalized". 

Kapoor's assertion that the filming will be over in four days from now has become a major announcement for Thala fans, who finally hope that the movie is on sight as they have been staunchly demanding Kapoor to release the update of Valimai. Some of the ardent fans have expressed disappointment over Kapoor's silence in releasing the movie update and some had gone to the extent of flaying and trolling him on social media for remaining mouth-shut about the movie. 

The fans had gone further in criticizing Kapoor when Vijay's 'Master'  was released in the theaters, which had triggered the typical clash of fans between Thala and Thalapathy fans. They took to Twitter and engaged in the virtual war over backing their favorite actor and voicing against the rival actors. When Master emerged with a blockbuster hit by grossing over Rs 200 crores, Vijay fans had held a campaign of the success which touched upon the slow-paced Valimai. 

Amid the strong demand, producer Boney Kapoor, who bankrolls the movie, has finally broken his silence and revealed that the entire filming of Valimai will be getting over on February 15, 2021. The update has now relished the ardent fans of Thala Ajith, who have been sharing the update rampantly across social media. Bringing the smile back on their faces, the update has been trending on Twitter with an overwhelming reception across and beyond the borders. With the update, the movie critics believe that 'Valimai' will hit the big screens by this summer. 

Valimai will be the second outing for Boney Kapoor with Ajith so is for director Vinoth, who directed 'Neerkonda Parvaai' previously that was starred by Ajith. Produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects, Valimai has Ajith in the lead role while Huma Qureshi has been roped in as the female lead and Kartikeya Gummakonda will be playing in the important role. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing music for the movie while Nirav Shah will be taking care of cinematography. 

Actors Pavel Navageethan, Yogi Babu, Achyuth Kumar, and Sumithra will be playing in the important roles. Gummakonda will be playing the antagonist. Valimai was scheduled to release on 12 November 2020 for the Diwali holidays. However, the film's shoot was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic which affected the release schedule, pushing the fans to wait for more time. After a long delay, the movie has been nearing the final stage of production. Valimai will be an action thriller and earlier, Boney Kapoor revealed that the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. 

According to Let's OTT Global, Valimai's first look will be unveiled in March 2021. The latest update from Boney Kapoor has made Ajith fans go agog and unstoppable as they have been filing Twitter by sharing the exciting news and calling everyone to share the update. The Twitter handle of one of the Ajith fan clubs said, "At last after 480 days, Exciting news about Valimai coming around us". Ajith was last seen in Viswasam that was directed by Siva. The movie was released on January 10, 2019, and Nayanthara, Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, and Anika had played in important roles.
