The upcoming film SK23, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, has created a lot of buzz among the fans. The film, which is directed by AR Murugadoss, is said to be an out and out action film, similar to his previous blockbuster Thuppaki.

Now, the latest addition to the star cast of SK23 is none other than the legendary Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who will be playing a crucial role in the film. Mohanlal, who is known for his versatile and powerful performances, has previously worked with a few tamil hits previously. 

According to sources, Mohanlal has agreed to be a part of SK23 after being impressed by the script and the character sketch. He will be joining the shoot soon, along with the other actors. The film also features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, who will be making her Tamil debut with this project. Mrunal Thakur is a popular actress in Hindi cinema and television, who has impressed fans with her performances in Sita Ramam, and Hi Nanna.

Another exciting name that has been approached for SK23 is Vidyut Jammwal, the action star of Bollywood, who is known for his stunts and martial arts skills. Vidyut Jammwal is expected to play an important role in the film, possibly as the antagonist. However, his confirmation is yet to be announced officially.

SK23 is said to be reportedly to have music by Anirudh Ravichander, who has composed some chartbuster songs for Sivakarthikeyan’s previous films.  The shooting of SK23 is expected to commence once Sivakarthikeyan wraps up his ongoing film SK21, which is  directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy.
