Dhanush is one of the most versatile and talented actors in Indian cinema, who has proved his mettle in various genres and languages. His upcoming film Captain Miller is a period action drama that promises to showcase his skills as a freedom fighter and a warrior. However, the film has also been mired in controversy due to its shooting location and its impact on the environment and wildlife.

Now the film's exciting update on the teaser, first look has been shared by the director by took us to Twitter and shared a new poster of the film on Wednesday, featuring Dhanush facing back, stepping away from a post war fileld with a gun in his hand. As per the update, the film's first look will be dropped by June 2023, and the teaser will be launched by July 2023.

The poster has created a lot of buzz among the fans of the actor, who are celebrating his 21st year in the film industry. Dhanush made his debut with Thulluvadho Ilamai in 2002, directed by his father Kasthuri Raja. Since then, he has acted in more than 50 films and won several awards and accolades.

Captain Miller is directed by Arun Matheswaran, who has previously helmed Rocky and Saani Kayidham. The film is said to be set in the pre-independence era and revolves around a freedom fighter named Captain Miller, played by Dhanush. The film also stars Shivarajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, and Sundeep Kishan in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and has music by GV Prakash Kumar. The cinematography is handled by Shreyaas Krishna and the editing by Naagooran. The film is expected to hit the screens later this year, possibly around Diwali.

Captain Miller is Dhanush’s second outing in 2023 after the bilingual flick Vaathi, which was released in February. The actor also has several other projects in his kitty, including D50, an untitled film with Mari Selvaraj, and Vadachennai 2, and a second Telugu debut with Sekar Kammula.
