Fans of Karthi are in for a treat as the actor’s upcoming film ‘Japan’ is gearing up for a double bonanza. The first single from the film, composed by GV Prakash Kumar, will be released this weekend and it is said to be a peppy folk number that will groove for sure.

But that’s not all, the makers have also planned to drop the teaser of the film next week, most likely on October 18. Then the teaser will be attached with the upcoming Vijay's actioner Leo movie from 19th October. ‘Japan’, directed by Raju Murugan, is a heist thriller that revolves around Karthi’s character, who is a gold smuggler. 

The film promises to be a roller-coaster ride of action, comedy and romance, as Karthi also shares screen space with Anu Emmanuel, who plays his love interest. The film boasts of a stellar cast that includes Sunil, Vijay Milton, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Bava Chelladurai and others in important roles.

The film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, who have delivered some of the most acclaimed films in recent times. ‘Japan’ will be Karthi’s second release this year after the magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2, which is expected to hit the screens in November. With such an exciting line-up, Karthi is surely one of the busiest and most sought-after actors in Kollywood.
