Ajith’s fifth collaboration with director Magizh Thirumeni, is touted to be a fast-paced action thriller that will showcase Ajith’s versatility and charisma. The film is bankrolling by Lyca Productions, who recently announced that the first schedule is wrapped up by sharing a official update on social media.

Fans  are now eagerly waiting for the first look poster. which is expected to be released by the end of February, as per reports. The film’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, with the team planned next schedules in Chennai and Hyderabad, where some crucial scenes and songs will be filmed.

The film also features Trisha, Regina Cassandara as the female lead, along with an ensemble cast of Prakash Raj, Nasser, Thambi Ramaiah, and Arav. The film is said to be a racy action thriller, with high-quality action sequences shot in exotic locations. The film is expected to release in May 2024. The music is composed by Anirudh who has delivered some memorable tunes for Ajith in the past.

Vidaamuyarchi is Ajith Kumar’s 62nd film, and marks his fifth collaboration with Trisha, after Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, and Yennai Arindhaal. Sun TV has secured the television release rights, while Netflix has acquired the OTT release rights, marking a substantial deal estimated at around Rs 250 crore.
