The electoral results of the by-elections in the state of Tamil Nadu, which have been airing since morning, reveal that the results would seemingly add more power, responsibility and numbers in the legislative assembly for the ruling ADMK party as the counting in both Nanguneri and Vikkravandi constituencies have been picturing that the ruling party leads towards victory.
The counting has been presenting the odd and deplorable responses for the opposition parties that are trailing in the polls with the differences of about thousands of votes as what it appears as the diminishing face for the opposition camp despite of hard line campaign trails against the ruling party and its alliance. The results of these by-elections have seen as the pivotal and crucial for the political parties as it would write prefix for 2021 state legislative elections and in the view of demonstrating tough fight, these two constituencies had hosted fierce rounds of campaign by the parties.
The elections were held on October 21st, 2019 with the counting on 24th and as scheduled, it was started today since 8 am in both the constituencies and from the first round, the results have been showering vote rains on the ruling party as its candidates are leading in the constituencies which had brought more pains on the other side of the shore that would see the numbers of legislators in ruling party will go high in the legislative assembly that won't be quaked till its full tenure which ends by 2021.
In Vikkravandi constituency, the ruling party candidate Muthamizh Selvan has been leading with massive numbers of nearly 10,300 votes against the opposition DMK party while in Nanguneri constituency, the opposition party and its alliance have been trailing around 2,900 votes as the ruling party has been successfully march towards the victory.
On one hand, the results in Tamil Nadu's by-elections had showcased the possible victory for the ruling alliance and on the other hand, the by-election in Kamaraj Nagar of Puducherry had declared its victory in just one hour since the start of the counting where the Congress party candidate John Kumar had registered his victory through which the Congress party had retained the constituency by defeating the opposition party of N R Congress by 7100 votes.
Speaking about the possible victory, the Deputy Chief minister of Tamil Nadu and ADMK party's chief coordinator had claimed that ADMK will record massive victories in both of the constituencies.
The constituencies of Nanguneri and Vikkravandi hosted by-elections after the death of Vikkravandi's representative to the legislative assembly while the then MLA of Nanguneri Vasantha Kumar had resigned from the post after he was elected to Lok Sabha from Kanyakumari.
