Days after the Chennai city police had detained about ten Tibetans who had reportedly planned to host protests against Chinese leader, about 32 fellow Tibetans have been charged and surrounded by the police department under the grounds of asserting anti Xi protest with their demand of freeing Tibet from the hands of China.

It has been reported that for the last three days, the city police department had locked down about 42 Tibetans in the city who had posed with security threat for the visiting delegation. With accord to the inputs from the intelligence last Sunday, the police had arrested one of the Tibetan activists and writer Tenzin Tsundue, the native of Himachal Pradesh who had camped in Villupuram district with the preparations of hosting the protest. Later being detained, the police had booked him under the charges of obstruction, intent to use violence and loitering.

Adding to his arrest, the authorities had also arrested about eight other Tibetans who belong to Tibetan organizations and have been working in the city in different streams. After being speculated that they would join hands with Tsundue, they had been arrested in prior after which all of these nine Tibetans had been lodged in Puzhal prison with the directive of the magistrate court. 

The police officials of Selaiyur and Tambaram had surrounded about 32 Tibetans, including 13 women who portrayed the possibilities to flag the protests who later were let to walk free after they had given consent that they won't possess a lag in the security grid.

Meanwhile, the official exclusive motorcades of Chinese President Xi Jinping had arrived in Chennai airport through Air China Cargo's Boeing 747 aircraft following which the Chinese authorities had held talks with Indian security personnel regarding the surveillance and the on route security for Chinese President. Before Xi Jinping arrives, these security teams from China will conduct multiple trips on the scheduled route that will be taken by the Chinese leader. 

The motorcade which has been named as 'Hongqi' limousine was specially manufactured to transport Chinese President which makes the car more expensive in China. This presidential limousine is capable of hitting hundred kilometers in eight seconds. This cargo aircraft had also disembarked the security parameters and requirements for the visiting Chinese delegation.
