Simbu, whose market has been successfully straightened through the blockbuster hit of 'Maanaadu', is going to mark his 39th birthday on February 3 and to make it grand, the fans of the actor will be receiving a double treat and it has been getting packed and will be unveiled exactly at 12 am on February 3 to begin his birthday celebrations. 

With the success of Maanaadu, Simbu is busy with several projects and currently, he is in outing with Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Venduthaninthathu Kaadu' and Obeli N Krishna's 'Pathu Thala'. After completing these two projects, the actor will be joining hands with director Gokul for the movie 'Corona Kumar'. His current projects are in steady progress with posters of both the movies have been released. 

The fans were expecting a huge update on the occasion of the actor's birthday and the toss is currently on what would be in the pack of his birthday treat. 'Pathu Thala' is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under his own banner of 'Studio Green' and on Wednesday - February 2, the production house has spurred the expectations over its announcement of Simbu's birthday treat. 

At 11.53 am, Studio Green wrote on social media, "Double treat today. 12 hours to go." It has implied that there would be a big update from the movie at 12 am on February 3. As the production house didn't reveal what's in the pack, the fans are in agog that the update would be on the movie 'Pathu Thala' and the actor's reunification with Studio Green for a fresh project. 

Maanaadu opened a new beginning for Simbu, which has also opened more expectations. Maanadu was released in the theatres last November and it has become one of the blockbuster movies of 2021. As a science fiction action thriller movie, Maanaadu was produced by Suresh Kamatchi and directed by Venkat Prabhu. While Simbu had played the lead role, SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan, SA Chandrasekhar, YG Mahendran, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren, Karunakaran, and Aravind Akash played important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music and it has made Rs 100 crore at the box office.
