One of the veteran and reputed Tamil directors Bharathirajaa, while speaking at the audio launch event, has suggested the Tamil Cinema industry not to release the movies of the Superstar and other influential actors during the festive seasons.
He was airing his comments in the audio launch of 'Adavi' movie that has been directed by debutant director Ramesh and 'Naan Mahaan Alla' fame Vinoth Kishan and Ammu Abhirami had played in the lead roles and the audio launch was conducted in Chennai on Monday for which Bharathiraja was invited as Chief Guest along with S.R. Prabhakaran, and Snehan.
After taking the podium, Bharathiraja had lauded the movie team of 'Adavi' for picturing the movie and stated that these kinds of movies can be directed by the one who has a deep love for forests and added that despite having made the movie with fewer investments, the scenes of the movies give complete satisfaction on the movie and the team.
He further suggested that movies like Adavi must be supported and called the producers not to film the movies of the superstar and other trending heroes during the festival seasons and cited that the movies of the big stars would have greater reach among the fans all the time but the movies with lesser investments like Adavi must be released during the festivals through which these new stories and new pictures would grab the attention of the audience by staying close to their hearts. He further asserted that he has been battling with the producers' council over finalizing the release of the big star movies. His notion has come at a high time when Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' is getting ready to hit the big screen on January 9, 2019, prior to the Pongal Holidays.
