In what has become relishing news to the fans of MS Dhoni, the legendary cricketer is soon going to unleash his second stint as a producer by producing a mythological web-series, which would be an adaption of an unpublished book by a debutant author. 

The web-series would be produced under the banner of Dhoni Entertainment and his second innings as the producer would be expected to start soon. The web series would be mythological science fiction and speaking about the production, Dhoni's wife Sakshi, who is the managing director of Dhoni Entertainment, said that the upcoming series is a thrilling adventure. 

She stated that the production house has acquired the rights of the book, which is a mythological science fiction that would be exploring the journey of a mysterious Aghori, who has been captured at a high-tech facility. The secrets revealed by this Aghori could alter the myths of ancient beliefs. Sakshi further added that "We would like to ensure that we execute all the aspects of this universe and bring out every character and story to the screen, with as much precision as possible". 

"Web-series fit our purpose better than adapting it into a feature film", she added. According to reports, this would be the second production under the banner of Dhoni Entertainment since the captain had stepped on the entertainment industry. Last year, Dhoni legged on the industry as a producer by producing a documentary in 2019. 

Titled as 'Roar of the Lion', the docuseries was produced by Dhoni and directed by 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' fame Kabir Khan. The series had got massive reception last year as in parallel, the Chennai Super Kings, the IPL team captained by MS Dhoni, had made a comeback following a two-year suspension for spot-fixing. The reports stated that the production unit is currently under the hunt of location and cast for the mythological web-series. 

With the second production in the second year of the launch, Dhoni had seemingly revealed what's next in his life as he had recently announced his retirement from the international cricket and has been playing currently in the Indian Premier League. The reports say, following the IPL, he would be starting his second innings as a producer. The production house has got several projects on its hand which will be managed and worked during 2021. 

By citing that Dhoni will be partially involved in the decision-making of the production house, Sakshi stated that the studio is a passion project for them. The Dhonis thought that it was a perfect time to venture into the entertainment industry when they produced 'Roar of the Lion'. On August 15, amid the training session in Chennai for the IPL, MS Dhoni announced his retirement from the international cricket.
