MS Dhoni is ready to set a new record in the IPL history, but more than that, he has been levied with the unprecedented expectation and challenge to revive back and get on the track of what is meant for his fleet in conquering the opponents as the Chennai Super Kings has been preparing to battle Warner's Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday - Oct 2 and the match, which would be the 14th match of the league, would be hosted by Dubai International Stadium.

It is a must-win for the Chennai Super Kings to show the sign of dominance as currently, Dhoni's fleet is at the last place in the points table and it is going to take on Hyderabad, which is one rank ahead of the super kings. As per the stats, both the teams had played three matches each and they had won one each while lost the rest of the matches. 

Chennai Super Kings, which is one of the all-time successful teams, has conceded two consecutive defeats from Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals and the team has been surfaced with the pressure to introspect before adding another defeat. With the expectation to revive back, Dhoni's fleet has been challenged by some historical twists and chases by the teams during the current league which had signaled the men in yellow to strengthen the batting and bowling line-ups. 

In what would be bringing hope to Chennai Super Kings, Ambati Rayudu is all set and fit and would be making a re-entry when the team prepares to lock horns with Sunrisers. Rayudu had missed the last two matches due to injury and his entry has been expected to strengthen the middle-order batting line up whereas Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has also been expected to play in today's game, which would further power-up Dhoni's fleet. 

On the other side, Warner's fleet has a strong batting line-up with David Warner, Kane Williamson, Jonny Bairstow, and Manish Pandeya and on the bowling department, Hyderabad is powered by Bhuvanesh Kumar, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, and young talent Thangarasu Natarajan. Overall, Chennai has dominated Hyderabad in the IPL as, since 2013, when SRH made their first appearance, both teams had played 13 matches between them of which CSK had won ten games. 

Through the current match, both the teams are looking for their second win of the season and CSK is getting on the battlefield after a gap of a week with full hope and fresh strategy to have a strong and revival in its own style. Both teams have strong players from overseas as equal as the Indian players and have been packed with legends and young talents and we can expect today's battle no way less than the clash of titans. 

Ambati Rayudu, Kane Williamson, Faf du Plessis, Deepak Chahar, Rashid Khan would be the key players to watch out for during the match as they would turn to be the game-changers. Through today's match, MS Dhoni will be setting a new record in the history of the IPL as he is going to achieve the feat of playing more IPL matches. Suresh Raina ranked top in this discipline after he played 193 matches and Dhoni was at the second spot. 

However, Suresh Raina was not playing the current IPL season due to personal reasons, leaving Dhoni to beat his record. Dhoni has played 193 matches so far and with the match against Sunrisers today, he is going to play his 194th match through which he is going to set a new record. However, Dhoni's record would soon be beaten by Rohit Sharma as the hitman had played 192 matches so far and the captains of the best rivalry would be battling in this discipline and we have to wait till the end to see who had won the battle of playing the most number of matches. 

Through the current match, you can possibly witness the following milestones - MS Dhoni needs 24 runs to complete 4500 IPL runs and Ambati Rayudu needs 45 runs to complete 1000 IPL runs for CSK. Manish Pandey requires 69 runs to complete 3000 IPL runs whereas David Warner needs 55 and 142 runs respectively to complete 500 IPL runs against CSK and 3500 IPL runs overall.
