The Supreme court had today wrapped up the final stages of hearing in India's most sensitive Ayodhya land dispute case after which the five judge constitutional bench headed by the Chief Justice had reserved the final judgment as what it can reported that the verdict of the land dispute that runs since 1950s will be pronounced in a month time from now that had clouded with the theories of anticipations.
The Apex court had screened off the arguments between both sides of aisle after it had lasted for about 40 days in which the constitutional bench consisted of Chief Justice and Justices S A Bobde, Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and Nazeer had conducted daily hearings since August 6th that had led for final phase of the arguments where the bench had resumed the hearing on October 14th after a week long halt for Dussehra holidays. Before taking the case for daily hearing, the Apex court had appointed a mediation committee to flag series of negotiations with the rival groups towards attaining harmonious deal that will lower the dispute.
The mediation committee was headed by former Supreme court Justice Kallifulla and comprised of Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar and Senior advocate and mediator Sriram Panchu where the trio had tabled the discussions directly with the on ground rivals with the view of easing the differences but eventually, the committee that was active for about four months had failed in reaching consensus in the middle of enmity which pictured the prevailing disputes and after having attained with no settlements, the committee was suspended by the Supreme court further to which the apex court had taken the case for daily hearings with the move of concluding the argument on October 17th, 2019.
The reports had said that, by concluding the final arguments today, the Supreme court had attained its target one day prior to the scheduled date where Muslim petitioners had completed their final stages of arguments by October 14th while the past two days were reserved for Hindu parties in which the claimants of the land to build Ram temple had finished the arguments today following which the five member constitutional bench had reserved the final judgment.
The sources from the Supreme court had indicated that the final judgment on the land dispute case will be pronounced on November 17th, 2019, the day when the current Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi will renounce from the office of country's top justice.
