In an exciting revelation for fans, renowned actor Dhanush is set to showcase his directorial prowess once again with the much-anticipated "DD3." The surprise unveiling of the film's poster brought an added thrill, featuring a beachy and breezy aesthetic, resonating with a serene ocean ambience surrounding a lone bench. Notably, the poster disclosed a date of 24th December 2023.
Tentatively titled #DD3, the concept poster, adorned with moon-inspired letters, has piqued interest with its calming visuals and intriguing release date. The film, touted to be a romantic drama, boasts a stellar cast, with Dhanush's cousin Varun taking the lead, alongside Anikha Surendran as the female lead and Sarathkumar in a pivotal role. Dhanush himself is set to make a special appearance in the film.
Adding musical magic to the project is GV Prakash Kumar, known for his exceptional compositions. Produced under Dhanush's home banner, Wunderbar Films, "DD3" promises a unique film premise. In addition to his directorial venture, Dhanush has an impressive lineup of projects on the horizon.
He is set to join the sets of 'D51,' marking his second debut in Telugu cinema under the direction of Sekhar Kammula, acclaimed for his realistic and sensitive films like ‘Happy Days,’ ‘Fidaa,’ and ‘Love Story.’ Further expanding his repertoire, Dhanush will grace the screen in 'Captain Miller,' a period-action thriller directed by Arun Matheswaran, known for his debut film, the critically acclaimed 'Rocky,' and 'Saani Kaayitham.'
Furthermore, the completion of Dhanush's second directorial, 'D50,' adds to the actor's multifaceted contributions to the film industry. He also have his third Bollywood debut with Anand L Rai for Tere Ishk Mein, who known for Raanjhana and Atrangi Re.
