Kollywood is once again back with some remarkable films in recent months. With the increasing popularity of OTT platforms, many of these films have found new audiences on streaming services. Here is the list of the latest Tamil releases just started its streaming.

The Great Indian Kitchen:

"The Great Indian Kitchen" is a Tamil-language drama film directed by R. Kannan and produced by Durgaram Choudhary and Neel Choudhary. Starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Rahul Ravindran in lead roles, the film is an official remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name. It explores the life of a woman who is expected to cater to her husband's every whim and desire, even at the cost of her own happiness. The film was released in theatres on 3 February 2023 .

Run Baby Run:

"Run Baby Run" is a Tamil-language film written and directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar. The film stars RJ Balaji and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles and was released theatrically on 3 February 2023. It tells the story of a journalist who is on the run after stumbling upon a political scandal. "Run Baby Run" is an intriguing investigative thriller that opens with the mysterious death of a medical college student named Sophie.

Bommai Nayagi:

"Bommai Nayagi" is a Tamil-language family drama directed by Shan, featuring Yogi Babu in the lead role. The film revolves around a man who will do anything to make his daughter happy, but is devastated when she goes missing. Discrimination and bias he faces along the way makes it harder for him to find his daughter. The movie was released in theatres on February 3.

OTT Release Date: 10th March 2023

Dada:

"Dada" is a Tamil-language romantic drama directed by Ganesh K Babu and stars Kavin and Aparna Das in lead roles. The film was released in theatres on February 10 and will now be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from March 10. It is a story about a young couple who separates after becoming parents, leaving the father to take care of their child.
