Dhanush, the versatile actor-director has announced the completion of his second directorial venture, ‘D50’. The film, which is produced by Sun Pictures, is a highly anticipated project that promises to be a thrilling and gripping tale of gangsters and revenge.

The film's shooting began in July this year and was wrapped up in five months. The film is set in the backdrop of North Chennai, a place known for its raw and gritty culture. Dhanush, who plays the lead role, will be seen as a ruthless and charismatic gangster, who seeks vengeance for a personal loss.
The film boasts of an ensemble cast that includes some of the finest actors in the industry. SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Nithya Menen, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaragahavan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anikha Surendran and others will be seen in pivotal roles.
