With having been isolated from the grounds of communications and internet nearly for a fortnight, the state authorities of Jammu and Kashmir had eased and relaxed the communications platforms in the state on Saturday where 2G mobile internet services have been resumed in five districts.

The reports say that the residents of Jammu, Reasi, Samba, Kathua and Udampur districts will be having access to the 2G mobile internet services and in Kashmir valley, where it was suspected to host security threat and violence, landline services have been resumed in 17 of its telephone exchanges.

The reports further added that the Kashmir valley had seen seventeen out of hundred telephone exchanges flagged with its operations since Saturday and these exchanges are mainly located in airport area, cantonment area and civil lines area of Srinagar district. The reports stated that the telephone exchanges had restored its operations in the districts of North, South and Central Kashmirs.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir would be nearing fortnight unless the services hasn't been resumed. The state and its residents have put into severe lock down and restrictions since early hours of August 5th, the day which had stunned the nation with an announcement of Central government that it had revoked the special status from the state of Jammu and Kashmir by mapping it with Indian constitution.

The people and the state political leaders have brought under tight surveillance where the state authorities had suspended the mobile network services and internet over the move of enhancing its security grid to tackle the security and violence threat which torched to hit the state against the move of Indian government.

With letting the people to live under droned surveillance for nearly two weeks, the Central government on Friday had told that the security forces are analyzing and reviewing the situations in the state to relax the restrictions over next few days where the state chief secretary had echoed the statement of Indian government by stating that the telecom connectivity will timely be relaxed and restored by considering the sense of threats that will be posed by terror militants by using mobile networks to organize and host the violence.
