The Clouds and roads of Chennai set to welcome the Chinese leader!

The clock has been ticking and the countdown is on as the Chennai city just has hours time to welcome and to host the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the visiting delegation whose aircraft will be wheeling down tomorrow for the second informal meet with Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi in Tamil Nadu's coastal town of Mamallapuram.

The skies, the roads and the people of the city have prepared to flag grand welcome for the Chinese leader and at the equivalent time, the city's police department and the security services would unleash massive security grid during the course of the visit and the city and the coastal town have been under severe drone and surveillance to ensure that no security breach or lag would be accounted for while both leaders table their discussions on the entire gamut of the bilateral ties.

With the wake of tightening and enhancing the security level, the state government had installed huge presence of security parameters to keep the coastal town under tight watch till the wrap up of the summit. Those parameters include putting up the CCTV cameras, reserving the route in the metro city and camping thousands of police and fleets through all levels of direction. As the city had one day left, today the government had issued directives on the traffic diversions during the tour of the leaders that will be in place for the next two days, where the authorities had advised the travelers, commuters and regular passersby on these routes to take detours as one of main roads in the IT hub of the city would be transporting the Chinese leader and his delegation from Chennai to Mamallapuram.

The authorities had mapped the routes for diverting the traffic and had brought the route that will lead the visiting delegation to reach Mamallapuram which is located around 50 kilometers from Chennai. The state government had also issued circular to the schools in the circle on notifying the changes accordingly and further instructed the school administration to make the students present while the city gives grand welcome to Xi Jinping. Chennai airport prepares with the traditional and cultural Indian dances that will welcome the Chinese leader and it has been reported that about 6,800 people including students, women and ADMK party men would occupy the either sides of the road with Indian and Chinese flags from Chennai Airport to Guindy, where Chinese leader will stay in ITC Grand Chola, which is the third largest hotel in India.

From Guindy, he will then escorted to Mamallapuram through road where about 50,000 people will flag grand welcome from Chennai till Mamallapuram after which he will meet Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi.

In wake of hosting Chinese leader for the first time, Mamallapuram has been getting renovated like never before as the state government had focused on cementing concrete roads, installing signals, CCTV cameras and decorating the town with precious saplings and with Buddha statues. Yesterday, the government had banned to and fro public transports in the city for the week and had ordered the hotels in the town not to accommodate any new and suspicious faces.
