In what has become a legendary catch-up in the galaxy of stars, actor Chiyaan Vikram has met iconic cricketer MS Dhoni in Chennai on Monday - January 31 and the picture of the meet has been going viral with the fans of both the stars have been rampantly sharing it on social media.
MS Dhoni, an ace batsman and former Team India Captain, is currently captaining the Chennai Super Kings and his captaincy has led the win the title four times in the Indian Premier League (IPL). As the upcoming edition of the IPL will be held soon, the teams are busy finalizing the players in a big auctioning gala. As the skipper of CSK, MS Dhoni has reached Chennai recently ahead of the auctioning session.
The auctioning will be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. Dhoni has come to Chennai to discuss with the CSK's management on picking up the players during the auction. Amid the busy schedule, Dhoni had allotted time and met another iconic star of the soil, actor Vikram, who is awaiting the release of his next movie 'Mahaan'.
According to reports, Vikram and Dhoni had met in Chennai on Monday and the fans club of the Chennai Super Kings had shared the photo of a surprise meeting in which Vikram can be seen wearing a casual fit while Dhoni was well suited-up for the show. The picture of the meeting has been rapidly spread and Vikram has become the second Tamil actor in recent times that MS Dhoni has met.
It is pertinent to note that MS Dhoni has met actor Vijay in Chennai in August 2021 when the duo had come for shooting at Sree Gokulam Studios. Actor Vikram awaits the release of Mahaan which will be released directly on Amazon Prime on February 10. On Monday, the movie team has released the movie's teaser and Mahaan will be the first movie for Vikram in nearly three years after Kadaram Kondan.
The movie marks to be the first-of-its-kind on many fronts including being the first movie where the stellar actor will act alongside his son Dhruv Vikram and being the first big movie for Vikram to get released directly on the OTT platform.
