The wait is over! The blockbuster film Chithha, starring Siddharth and Amala Paul, is finally coming to your screens. The action thriller, directed by SU Arun Kumar, will be streaming on Disney + Hotstar from November 28.
Chithha, which released in theatres on September 28, received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Directed by SU Arunkumar, the film stars Siddharth and Nimisha Sajayan as the main leads, who cope with their present challenges they didn't expect of in the name of child abuse.
Siddharth, who plays the lead role of Chithha, took to his social media handle to announce the news. He wrote, “#CHITHHA on HOTSTAR We are thrilled to announce that your much loved and celebrated “FILM OF THE YEAR” SU Arun Kumar’s #CHITHHA will be streaming on @disneyplushotstar from November 28th.”

It's interesting to note that this film drew inspiration from a Malayalam short film called "Based on a True Story" (2017), written, directed, and produced by Rajesh Ambattu. The short film had a similar plotline and story as this film and was released on YouTube in 2017.
