The sequel of 2005 blockbuster Chandramukhi is all set to hit the screens soon. Chandramukhi 2, starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role, is gearing up for a grand audio launch next month. The film, which is touted to be a “spiritual successor” of the Rajinikanth-starrer, will also have Kangana Ranaut playing a pivotal role as a dancer in the king’s court.

The makers to soon announce about the first single track release and on the spectacular audio launch event, which will also feature the presence of the film’s director P Vasu, producer Lyca Productions, and actor-comedian Vadivelu, who is reprising his role from the original. The actress recently shared the first look of Raghava Lawrence from the film on her social media handle. The film will release in September in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Chandramukhi 2 is expected to be a thrilling horror-comedy that will follow the adventures of the supernatural occurrences that take place in their newly-bought bungalow. The film will have music by Oscar winner MM Keeravani, cinematography by RD Rajasekar, and art direction by Thotta Tharani.

Raghava Lawrence, who is known for his own horror film franchise Muni, has also pledged to contribute to PM-CARES for Coronavirus relief efforts. He has also signed up for another film with his brother Elviin, which will be directed by Innisai Pandiyan. The actor has a busy line-up of projects, including Durga, and Adhigaram.
