In a startling piece of news, popular film producer Kamal Kishor Mishra (38) hit his wife with the car after she accused him of cheating after the filmmaker was caught with another woman. The CCTV footage of the barbaric crime has gone viral on social media and a case has been registered against Mishra. 

According to reports, the incident happened on October 19 in the parking area of a residential building in Andheri (West), Mumbai and now it came to light after the case was registered. The producer rammed his wife with the car after she spotted him with another woman.

Based on the footage, Mishra's wife was seen blocking the car as she confronts him and he accelerates the vehicle and leaves the spot after hitting and leaving her behind. After being hit by her husband, Mishra's wife has lodged a complaint with Amboli police station. 

A police official on Wednesday said that based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered against Kamal Mishra under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 279- rash driving and 337 - causing hurt by act endangering the life or personal safety of others.

The probe is underway and Amboli police in a statement said that Kamal Mishra has been detained and is being interrogated. The police official further said that after Mishra hit his wife with the car, she suffered injuries to her legs, hand, and head. It must be noted that Mishra is the producer of the Hindi film 'Dehati Disco'.
