Captain Miller Teaser : Dhanush's actioner promises a clash of titans in pre-Independence India!

The birthday of the versatile actor Dhanush was made even more special by the release of the official teaser of his upcoming film, Captain Miller. The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is a period action drama set in pre-Independence India. The teaser, which is one and a half minutes long, gives a glimpse of the high-octane action and drama that the film promises.

Dhanush plays the titular role of Captain Miller, a revolutionary leader who is wanted by the British authorities, and Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the lead along the versatile star. Dhanush intrigues with the teaser as he is seen wielding guns, swords and bombs as he fights against the colonial oppressors.

The teaser also introduces Shiva Rajkumar as his brother, a loyalist who leads a battalion in the field with his followers, where Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Vinoth Kishan, Nassar, Elango Kumaravel and others make up the ensemble cast of the flick promising a fiercy action feast.

The teaser has received a tremendous response from the fans who are in awe with Dhanush who unveils his fierce avatar as a revolutionary leader, and its already crossed 5 Million views within few hours. The film’s music composer GV Prakash has also delivered a rousing background score that elevates the teaser. The cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni captures the rustic and raw atmosphere of the 1930s. 

The release date of Captain Miller is also announced by the makers. As per the update, the film is to hit theatres on 15th December 2023. The film is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films.

Captain Miller is one of the most anticipated films of Dhanush, who has been experimenting with different genres and roles in his career. The actor, who recently won his second National Award for Asuran, has also directed his next film, D 50, which is a gangster drama. He also has a Hindi film with Anand L Rai titled Tere Ishk Mein and a Telugu-Tamil bilingual with Sekhar Kammula in his kitty.
