Captain Miller Pre-release Event: Dhanush and team set the stage on fire!

The countdown has begun for the release of ‘Captain Miller’, the much-awaited action thriller starring Dhanush in the lead role. The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is all set to hit the screens on January 12, coinciding with the Pongal festival. The film will also have a pan-Indian release, as Dhanush’s popularity has soared across the country after his recent successes.

To create some hype and excitement for the film, the makers organized a grand pre-release event on Thursday, which was attended by the cast and crew of the film, along with some special guests and celebrities. The event was a spectacle of entertainment, as the stars of the film showcased their talents and charisma on stage.

Here are some of the major highlights from the ‘Captain Miller’ pre-release event. Arun Matheswaran, the director of the film, revealed that he had earlier approached Dhanush with a different script titled ‘Devadas’, but it did not materialize.

He also said that he had tried to cast Dhanush in his previous film ‘Rocky’, but that too did not work out. He expressed his happiness and gratitude for finally getting the opportunity to work with Dhanush in ‘Captain Miller’. He also said that he did not want to talk much about the film, as he wanted the audience to experience it on the big screen.

Shiva Rajkumar, the Kannada superstar who plays a pivotal role in the film, stole the show by dancing with Dhanush for the song ‘Koranaaru’, which is a peppy number composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The duo set the stage on fire with their energetic moves and chemistry. Shiva Rajkumar also thanked the fans for their warm response to his character in ‘Jailer’, another film that he starred in recently. He praised Dhanush as one of the finest actors in India, and said that he did not care about the story of the film, as long as Dhanush was in it.

GV Prakash Kumar, the music director of the film, said that he had a great time working with Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran, and that he was confident that the film would be a blockbuster. He also hinted that the interval block of the film would be a mind-blowing scene, and that the fans would love it. He also sang a few lines from the songs of the film, and received a huge applause from the crowd.

Dhanush, the hero of the film, thanked his fans for their unconditional love and support. He said that he was very happy with the final output of the film, and that he was impressed by the vision and execution of Arun Matheswaran. He compared the director with Vetri Maaran, another acclaimed filmmaker who has collaborated with Dhanush in several films. 

The ‘Captain Miller’ pre-release event was a grand success, and it has raised the expectations for the film even higher.  The film also features Sundeep Kishan, and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the love interest of Dhanush, who supports him in his mission.

The film, which has been certified with a U/A certificate by the censor board, is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, who are known for their quality and content-driven films. The film’s music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, who has delivered some stirring tunes for the film. The film, which is set in the 1930s, has been shot extensively in various locations across India, with a lavish budget and a grand scale.
