The countdown has begun for the much-awaited teaser of Dhanush’s upcoming film Captain Miller, which is set to release on July 28, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. The makers of the film have been teasing the fans with fiery posters and intriguing updates about the film, which is touted to be a period action drama set in the 1930s and 1940s.

The latest poster features Dhanush in a long-bearded look, wielding a gun and ready to take on his enemies. He captioned the poster as “KILLER KILLER…”, adding to the excitement of his fans. The teaser of Captain Miller will be out at 12:01 AM, and fans are eagerly waiting to witness the never-before-seen avatar of Dhanush in the film.

Captain Miller is directed by Arun Matheswaran, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Saani Kaayidham, starring Selvaraghavan and Keerthy Suresh. Captain Miller also marks the Tamil debut of Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who plays a pivotal role in the film.

The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish and Dushara Vijayan in important roles. The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has collaborated with Dhanush for several hit albums in the past.

The film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, who have bankrolled some of Dhanush’s previous films. The film is expected to release later this year, but the makers have not announced the official date yet. Captain Miller is one of the most anticipated films of Dhanush, who has a slew of projects in his kitty.

The actor is also directing and acting in his 50th film, tentatively titled Raayan, which also features SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan. He is also working on a bilingual film with director Sekhar Kammula and a Hindi film with director Anand L Rai titled Tere Ishq Mein.
