Two years have passed since the shocking news of Sushant Singh Rajput's death shook the Indian film industry and the Bollywood community to its core. In a shocking turn of events, a Cooper Hospital employee who was part of the team that did the post-mortem in the case said that the actor did not commit suicide but was killed. Fans' reactions to the revelation of the truth have flooded the internet.

After an investigation, the death of the 34-year-old actor who was found in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020 was ruled a suicide. Roopkumar Shah, in a breathtaking twist of events, who said to be worked at the autopsy case of the actor, told the news outlet, "When Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, we had received five dead bodies in the Cooper Hospital for postmortem. Out of those five bodies, one was a VIP body. When we went to perform a post-mortem, we learnt he was Sushant and there were several marks on his body and two to three marks on his neck as well. The postmortem needed to be recorded but higher authorities were asked to only click pics of the body. Hence, we did that as per their order,"

"When I saw Sushant’s body for the first time, I quickly informed my seniors that I feel it is not suicide but a murder. I even told them that we should work as per the rules. However, my seniors told me to click pictures as soon as possible and give the body to the cops. Hence, we performed the postmortem in the night only," Shah added.

"It's doctor's job as to what to write in Post mortem report. He should get justice. Everyone can tell by looking at the picture of Sushant Singh Rajput that he was murdered. If the investigating agency will call me, I will also tell them", he furtherly added. On the other hand, Dr. Sachin Sonamne, who was in charge of the team, denies that this is the case, saying that the man in the video was not involved in performing the autopsy on Sushant.

BJP MLA from Mumbai's Andheri West shared a video of Shah talking about the allegation on Monday, and captioned "This is incriminating evidence in the #justiceforssr case." Mumbai Police initially looked into the actor's death, but later handed the case off to the ED, the NCB, and the CBI to continue looking into (CBI). Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested by the NCB in 2020 on drug charges related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
