Bollywood TV actor Divya Bhatnagar has passed away on Monday at the age of 34 due to COVID-19 at Mumbai. Becoming one of the notable victims of the pandemic, the fans and fraternities are paying tribute to the deceased actor, who had acted in some of the popular television shows.
Divya had tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection in November and she was getting treated at SevenHills hospital in Mumbai. She had been battling for survival for nearly ten days. As her health had deteriorated, she was put on life support with the ventilator. However, there was no positive health response and despite the efforts to save her, Divya had breathed her last on the morning hours of Monday at the age of 34.
Divya was shooting for 'Tera Yaar Hoon Main' during which she was rushed to the hospital after confirmed to have contracted the viral infection. She also had done shows like 'Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Sanskaar', and 'Sanware Sabko Preeto'. After the news of her demise broke out, the fans and fraternities have been paying tribute to the tricenarian and condolences to her family.
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee took to Instagram and shared a picture of Divya and wrote, "I know life was too hard on you..the pain is intolerable...but I know today you must be in a better place and free from all the sorrow, pains, sadness, cheats, and lies...I will miss you and I loved you and cared for you...God bless your soul. You will be missed and remembered. I love you. Too soon to go, my friend...Om Shanti".
Actress Shilpa Shirodkar had also shared a picture with Divya and wrote, "I'm so so so heartbroken. RIP my dearest Divya". According to reports, Divya had passed away by having her mother and brother by her side. The duo had traveled to Mumbai from Delhi after learning that Divya's health had got deteriorated.
Earlier while Divya was under treatment, her mother spoke to a news agency during which she said that the actor was critical and on ventilator support. She was rushed to the hospital on November 26 and she was also suffering from pneumonia.
