Blast on the path of VK Sasikala...Celebrations of welcoming her went wrong!

In the midst of displaying a grand welcome to VK Sasikala, who is returning to Chennai from Bengaluru after completing a four-year prison sentence, the incident of a blast was reported in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu after the explosives that were used to burst as part of the celebrations of welcoming her had exploded and charred two vehicles that weren't part of Sasikala's motorcade.

According to reports close to the developments, the incident of the blast had happened near the Krishnagiri toll gate on Monday after she entered Tamil Nadu. The explosion had devastated two vehicles, fortunately, no deaths were reported due to the incident. However, the Krishnagiri police department has been investigating the matter.

The blast had triggered a major fire accident following which the personnel from the fire department were deployed to douse the fire. On Monday, VK Sasikala, who was the closest aide of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, had started from Bengaluru at around 8 am to Chennai after completing the prison sentence. She started from Bengaluru amid the sharp speculations on her political resurgence and thousands of supporters and members of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam had gathered on the highways to offer a grand welcome to Sasikala.

According to reports, around 56 points were installed from Bengaluru to Chennai and Sasikala would be stopping at every point to accept the welcome from her supporters. The visuals from her return had shown that the motorcade had resembled that of a foreign leader and the political observers say that the kind of rousing welcome for Sasikala was something that Jayalalithaa didn't get when she came out of prison.

Ahead of starting from Bengaluru, she had paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa. When Sasikala reached Hosur, she went to a temple and she offered prayers and while she was offering prayers, she can be seen wearing ADMK's cloth around her, which further shocked the ADMK leaders. Sasikala has been surfaced with the speculations to take over the ADMK ahead of the elections and her supporters and the party members of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam have been unfolding the large-scale celebrations across Tamil Nadu to offer a royal welcome.

According to reports, Sasikala would be arriving in Chennai during the evening hours of Monday by carrying the expectations on her political resurgence.  As she has strongly signaled that she is ready for the battle to take over the ADMK from current leaders, the leaders of the party are keenly watching how the developments are getting unfolded.

ADMK leaders are largely concerned about her arrival and they are taking measures to stop her from dominating the party. Apart from filing the police complaint with the Tamil Nadu DGP for using the ADMK flag, the Krishnagiri police department has on Monday issued a legal notice to Sasikala for using the ADMK flag in her car. After arriving in Chennai, it has been expected that she will be driving towards the residence in T Nagar in the city, which will become her new address.
