BJP to hold pro-CAA processions in Tamil Nadu-Here are the developments!

Amidst the heated uproar and agitation across the country over the implementation of biased and controversial Citizenship Amendment Act, the Tamil Nadu state BJP unit is planning to unfold pro-CAA rallies across the state which the party calls as the counter- campaigning for the opposition parties which strongly criticize the Act.

The reports say that the pro-CAA processions will have the presence of the allied parties in the state and the BJP has decided to hold the rallies in Chennai and three major cities of the state from January 7th which would be participated by the Union Ministers and National leaders of the Central ruling party. However, the reports have stated that state allied parties including ADMK and PMK are likely to discard its participation in the procession as their participation would further downgrade their names in the state.

As per the reports of Times of India, a senior ADMK leader has claimed that the party has been trying to keep away from the BJP's rally after getting an untoward and flawing response from the people of the state over supporting the CAA in the Parliament and the support for the Act was strongly condemned in the state that had reflected in the results of the rural local body polls that were recently concluded.

On the other hand, BJP's allied party PMK would also be staying far away from taking part in the rallies and a senior party leader has said that the leadership of the party had adopted a resolution in the party's meet against the CAA and to revoke the act from getting implemented in the state and a leader has claimed that the PMK would less likely participate in the processions. The BJP has already conducted similar pro-CAA rallies in Madhya Pradesh and in West Bengal.
