'Baahubali' director and his family test positive for COVID-19, under isolation!

Well-renowned film director SS Rajamouli, who got fame through directing 'Baahubali' movie, said he and his family have been tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday and they have been under home quarantine following the infection. 

The 46-year-old director took to Twitter and issued the conformity on getting contracted to the virus. He said that the family got tested after it developed a mild fever a few days ago and the test result returned positive for the virus following which the family has been under isolation at home and stated that no one in the family has shown any major symptoms. 

In his tweet, he said, 'My family members and I developed a slight fever a few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors'.

 

He further wrote in the Twitter thread that, 'All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions... Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma'. 

The 'Baahubali' director was working on his upcoming film 'Rise Roar Revolt' which is starred by Junior NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. However, the movie work has been paused in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak and the nationwide lockdown. 

 

The movie is coming up as a fictional tale based on the lives of two freedom fighters in the early 20th century. The movie has been scheduled to get released on January 8, 2021. The movie, which would be one of the magnificent projects of the director, also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and Ray Stevenson. After knowing the development, some of the stars including Mahesh Babu and Raashi Khanna took to Twitter and wished for the speedy recovery of the director.
