The long wait of Simbu fans has come to an end after their favorite actor has made a grandeur re-entry in a bid to stay strongly connected with his ardent fans and to reach them directly. In what has become a comeback after three years, Simbu, who fondly known as STR, has made his re-entry to the social media platforms on Thursday in a much stylish way.

Winning the hearts and a grand reception, STR has given a big surprise to his fans and has made his entry worthy after grabbing thousands of followers in some minutes. In a social media rebound, Simbu has posted a new video which has become his first tweet from his official Twitter account. In a video that lasted for 57 seconds, Simbu has revealed how lockdown had helped him in having a health transformation. 

His fans had gone amazed to see the sudden transformation which unveiled a brand new actor in Simbu. In his video, Simbu can be seen working out in the gym, undergoing physical transformation, and learning Kalari. With vibrant music and sceneries, Simbu can be seen preparing for his new style and the video ends with the words, "When the student is ready, the teacher arrives". 

He joined and launched his Twitter account on Thursday and tweeted his video. By the time of writing this content, Simbu has received over 42,000 new followers in what has become a grand reception. He goes by the username @SilambarasanTR on Twitter while he also has entered Instagram where, with two posts, Simbu had earned nearly 1,10,000 followers on the leading photo-sharing site. 

His Twitter video ends with 'Atman', which in literary means a person's soul or the spiritual life principle of the universe. The actor had earlier announced that he would be making a re-entry on the social media platforms on October 22 and at 9.09 am. The announcement had relished his diehard fans and they have been sharing the announcement rampantly across social media and as announced, he had made his re-entry at 9.09 am on October 22. 

Ever since he made a comeback, he has been rained with thousands of new followers expressing their love for the actor. According to reports, his Twitter account is yet to get verified. The fans had waited for over three years to have him on social media where most of the celebrities are active. On the eve of Independence Day 2017, Simbu announced that he will be exiting social media and deactivated his Twitter and Facebook accounts by citing that social media has become a place for negativity and appealed to the people to spread love. 

On the work front, Simbu has been acting in Venkat Prabhu directorial 'Maanadu' which was bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi. The shooting was halted owing to the COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions and it has been expected that the shoot will resume after the lockdown. Amid the pause, Simbu is now been acting in a movie directed by Suseenthiran. The shoot of this movie was started in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu with the aim to complete it in 35 days. While Simbu is doing a lead role, Nidhi Aggarwal has been roped in as a female lead.
