From AR Rahman to Anurag Kashyap...A massive unveiling of Simbu's birthday gift!

It was indeed what the ardent fans of Silambarasan TR were waiting for a long time and they had it on the birthday of their favorite star. Amid carrying more expectations, the teaser of Simbu's 'Maanaadu' was released on Wednesday when the actor had celebrated his 38th birthday. In what has become a perfect birthday gift, the fans have been widely sharing the teaser across social media. 

The teaser was all unique in unveiling it with the never-witnessed opening in recent times. In a unique fashion, the teaser was released by some of the notable celebrities across multiple Indian languages. The teaser was released by Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman in Tamil, reputed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap has released the teaser's Hindi version. 

Sandalwood actor Sudeep had released the teaser's Kannada version while Prithviraj Sukumaran released the Malayalam version, and the teaser's Telugu version was unveiled by actor Ravi Teja. The teaser that lasted for one minute and fifteen seconds has promised the fans a perfect entertainer and a grand comeback of Silamabarasan after several years. By leaving the hints of going backward, the movie has stirred the predictions that it would revolve around time. 

The teaser provides a feast for the fans and audiences that the long wait is worth and a special element of displaying the never displayed Simbu, thanks to the actor for a huge transformation during the lockdown and becoming unusually active that relished his fans. Though the teaser didn't reveal more, it has promised that Maanadu will full of politics, thriller, and suspense. Maanaadu brings back the epic combo of Simbu and Yuvan Shankar Raja for the sixth time. 

Though Simbu had acted in Easwaran recently, Maanaadu was under high expectation from his fans as it has been on the floor for over one year. After running into a spat with Maanadu's producer Suresh Kamatchi last year, Simbu had mitigated the disputes and returned to the sets and resume the shooting for the movie. The shooting is getting progressed further and it has been expected to hit the big screens in the second half of 2021. 

As Simbu's birthday gift was released in various South Indian languages, the fans had gone agog and rampantly sharing the teaser. Maanadu's poster was released recently which had shown that Simbu is playing as an Islamic man. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions on a budget of around Rs 25 crore, Maanaadu is directed by Venkat Prabhu and while Simbu is playing in a lead role, it has roped in some of the reputed faces of Tamil Cinema including Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekar, SJ Suryah, Premji Amaren, Kalyani Priyadarshan in the important roles. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music while Richard Nathan has done cinematography. Simbu was lastly seen in Eeswaran that was released on January 14, 2021, during the Pongal holidays. Eeswaran was produced by Balaji Kapa and directed by Suseenthiran. 'Maanaadu' teaser has got a decent reception as within two hours of the release on Youtube, the teaser has garnered nearly seven lakh views.
