Anushka Shetty makes a grand comeback after 2 years... Here's the release date of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty!

Anushka Shetty fans can rejoice, as the much-anticipated romantic comedy, "Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty," is at last on the horizon. In this delightful tale, we witness Anushka Shetty's triumphant return to Telugu cinema after a three-year hiatus, bringing her charm and talent back to the silver screen.

The film, which was earlier slated for an August 4 release, has now been rescheduled to September 7, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. The makers of the film announced the new release date with a new poster featuring the lead pair.

The actress, who was last seen in the 2020 thriller Nishabdham, is playing a feminist character who prefers to stay single. Naveen Polishetty, on the other hand, is playing a hopeless romantic who falls in love with her and tries to woo her. The film promises to be a fun-filled ride with hilarious situations and witty dialogues.

The film is directed by debutant Mahesh Babu P and produced by Vamsi-Pramod of UV Creations, who have previously bankrolled blockbuster films like Saaho and Mirchi. The film has music composed by Radhan, who has also roped in actor Dhanush to sing a song for the film. The cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is in charge of the editing.

The teaser of the film, which was released in May, has already garnered over 6.5 million views on YouTube and received positive feedback from the viewers. The teaser showcases the contrasting personalities of Miss Shetty and Mr Polishetty and their hilarious interactions. The film also features an ensemble cast of Keshav Deepak, Abhinav Gomatam, Jayasudha, Koushik Mahata, Vinni Mobstaz, Nassar, Murli Sharma, Sonia, Tulasi, and Rohit Krishna Varma in supporting roles.

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty is one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the year and is expected to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan at the box office. The film is also likely to face competition from other big releases like Pushpa, RRR, and KGF Chapter 2. However, the makers are confident that their film will impress the audience with its unique story and fresh chemistry between Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty.
