After being identified with the possibilities of allegedly committing impersonation over NEET examination, the accused medical college student had today tabled his anticipatory bail petition in Madras High court madurai bench.
The alleged student Udit Suriya, although the resident of Chennai, had filed his bail petition in the high court Madurai bench in order to unleash judicial challenges against the police department of Theni district that had booked him under the grounds of criminal conspiracy, cheating by impersonation, forgery and for using forged documents.
Through his bail petition, he had stated that despite of given proper explanations, he has still been accused as some one has written the exams instead of him and further claimed that he hasn't involved in any such acts of impersonation pictured by the media and indicated that his arrest would due to the fabrication of media. He cited that there is no necessity for custodial interrogation as all the possible documents are available with the college administrations.
He further assured that he will oblige for the directives issued by the court towards co-operating for investigations. After the petition was taken for hearing, the attorney for state government had cited that the case would possibly be transferred to CBCID department for further investigations and urged the accused student to voluntarily surrender to face the inquiry.
After hearing the arguments, the Justice, with seriousness of the issue, had given an option for the accused student through his counsel to surrender before the investigative team within Friday after which the court would take his anticipatory bail for hearing.
Since the counsel for the accused student had failed to respond immediately, the Justice had adjourned the hearing to October 1st, 2019.
