Padmashri actor Vivek still lives with us and while we remember him through his unparalleled contribution and reputation, here comes a moment to celebrate him, relish his smile and message, and cherish his memories for yet another time as he is going to entertain us through his last work. So, all Vivek fans, keep yourself free on August 27 as Vivek is going to come directly to entertain you along with some of the notable comedy actors.

The Tamil comedy series 'LOL: Enga Siri Paappom' is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 27. It will be the Tamil version of the Hindi comedy series 'LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse'. It was released earlier this year on Amazon Prime and the Tamil series will be released four months after the demise of actor Vivek. The Tamil series was hosted by Vivek along with actor-comedian Shiva. Produced by SOL Production Pvt Ltd, the series was shot weeks before Vivek's untimely demise. 

The series will feature ten Tamil comedians- Premgi Amaren, Powerstar Srinivasan, Pugazh, Harathi Ganesh, Maya Krishnan, Abhishek Kumar, RJ Vignesh Kanth, Sathish, Bhargav Ramakrishnan, and Syama Harini. They will be contesting against each other for six consecutive hours with two objectives - to make others in the house laugh and to ensure that they themselves won't laugh. The winner of the reality show will be receiving a cash prize worth Rs 25 lakh. 

Speaking about the hosting and experience with late actor Vivek, actor Shiva said, "LOL Enga Siri Paappom is very close to my heart since it was my last shoot with legendary actor and my favourite entertainer, Vivek sir. With his versatility and charm, Vivek sir has already added that extra dose of fun, making this show a wholesome entertainer. I had a wonderful time co-hosting the show with him. Unique, fresh, and packed with hilarious punches, this unscripted comedy reality show promises unlimited entertainment to the viewers. I am thrilled to collaborate with Amazon Prime video and bring this unique unscripted show for our Tamil audiences across the world." 

Aparna Purohit, the head of India Originals at Amazon Prime, said, "This is an emotional moment for us. While we are yet to come to terms with his loss, we feel extremely fortunate that we got an opportunity to work with Vivek sir. LOL: Enga Siri Paappom is a special tribute to him and his fans. Vivek sir will continue to live on in our hearts and memories." The series was the last project of Vivek and the fans and audiences are awaiting to watch and celebrate him through his last work. 

Actor Suriya on Friday took to Twitter and shared actor Vivek's last work by releasing a short clip of LOL: Enga Siri Paappom. Suriya wrote, "He will live forever in our hearts... It's an honour to share @actor_vivek sir's last work who made us laugh and also passed on socially responsible n progressive thoughts!" It must be noted that Suriya had acted with Vivek in several movies with the prominent ones being Singam 1 and 2. One of the commonalities of Suriya and Vivek was their contributions to society. Actor Vivek passed away in Chennai on April 17 this year due to cardiac arrest at the age of 59.
