The popular pair of Ajith Kumar and Trisha, who have worked together in films like Kireedam, Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal, are all set to share screen space once again in the upcoming action thriller Vidaa Muyarchi. The film, which is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, was officially announced on Ajith’s birthday on May 1.

Vidaa Muyarchi, which means perseverance in Tamil, is Ajith’s 62nd film and his third collaboration with music composer Anirudh Ravichander after Vedalam and Vivegam. The film also marks the first time that Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni are working together. Magizh Thirumeni is known for his acclaimed films like Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meaghamann and Thadam.

According to sources, Trisha has been approached to play the female lead opposite Ajith in Vidaa Muyarchi. The actress, who was last seen in Paramapadham Vilayattu, is yet to confirm her involvement in the project. However, fans are excited to see the duo back on screen after six years.

Vidaa Muyarchi is expected to go on floors in June and will be shot in various locations across India and abroad. The film is slated to release in 2024. The rest of the cast and crew details are awaited.

While fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on Vidaa Muyarchi, Ajith Kumar has surprised everyone with his new passion project. The actor, who is an avid biker and racer, has started a motorcycle touring company called AK Moto Ride that will offer superbikes for rent to bike enthusiasts across India and selected foreign locations.

The actor announced his new venture in a press release on May 22, saying that he will be channeling his passion for motorcycles and outdoors into a professional endeavour.
