For the past few years or since the collaboration with director Siva, Ajith's movie names are starting with 'V'. Though there was a change in the direction, this 'V' formula has been intact. As such formula has hit success commercially, it has become the sentiment for the actor where he wishes the moviemakers to craft a title starting with V. Despite Nerkonda Paarvai, the formula was applied in the movies of 'Veeram', 'Vivegam', and 'Viswasam'.
It has continued as Ajith's last movie was 'Valimai'. Helmed by director H Vinoth, Valimai was released on February 24 and has been a successful movie commercially. The movie was released amid overwhelming expectations and it has drawn mixed reactions from across and beyond the borders. After Valimai, Ajith is busy with the shooting of his next movie, tentatively titled AK 61. In line with Valimai, this new project will also be directed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
According to our sources, Ajith is moving on with his sentiment and that his new movie will be titled 'Vallamai'. The full-fledged shooting of the movie will commence on March 19 at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and the movie's art team is busy installing magnificent shooting sets. The name of AK 61 has been going viral and fans had also shared their guesses and speculations of the movie.
It has been reported that AK 61 will have an ensemble cast with either Mohanlal or Nagarjuna playing an important role. Earlier, Vinoth has said that Ajith will be playing a negative role in the movie and recently, the pictures of the actor were released and were rampantly spreading across social media. The actor has planned to decrease 25 kgs for AK 61 and he had already reduced 10 kgs, ahead of the shooting.
