After the release of Thunivu, there was a lot of buzz about Ajith's upcoming film, Ak62. Originally, the actor was to work with director Vignesh Shivan on his 62nd film, but those plans have changed, and Magizh Thirumeni is now enclosed to direct. Earlier, pictures of the ultimate star in vacay swamped the social media, and now his next venture will kick off soon.
The working title of Ajith's 62nd film is AK 62 for now. Finally, the film's Muhurtha Pooja is claimed to have taken place in Chennai on Monday (February 21), and the producers are awaiting the appropriate moment to launch the film officially. Ajith did not attend the Muhurtha puja, which was supposedly attended by the director and a few other crew members.
It is expected that Lyca Productions' AK 62 will be a high-budget action film. Arun Vijay and Arulnidhi's inclusion in AK 62 according to several Kollywood rumours is still need to be confirmed. According to reliable sources, the film is expected to begin filming next month in March.This will be composer Anirudh Ravichander's third collaboration with the actor, following Vedhalam and Vivegam.
Previously, it was reported that the filmmakers intend to officially announce the film with the title and that they are currently considering three potential titles, which will be confirmed with the official announcement. Nirav Shah, who directed the cinematography for Ajith's last three films, will direct the camera for Ajith's upcoming film for the fourth time in a row.
