AIADMK seeks Prime minister's support for crucial by-elections!

In the sidelines of Prime minister Narendra Modi's visit to Chennai, the state Chief minister and the joint coordinator of AIADMK party Edappadi Palaniswami and Deputy Chief minister and party's chief coordinator O Pannerselvam had sought the support from the Prime minister for the upcoming crucial by-elections which have been termed to be an acid test for the ruling party which was queued up with heatwaves of controversies and accusations.

The grounds of Tamil Nadu has been preparing to host the legislative by-elections in Nanguneri and Vikkravandi constituencies on October 21st and since the days are running out, the main political parties of the state have been equipping to hit the campaign trail to defeat their respective rivalries as it has been speculated that these elections will write the prefix for 2021 state legislative elections.

As the opposition party DMK will face the elections with its allied parties where DMK had allotted one of the seats, Nanguneri to Congress party while the ruling AIADMK has decided to contest directly in both constituencies that had tightened the fight between the main rivals.

Since the BJP party, one of the allied parties in AIADMK has yet to declare its stand on by-elections, it has been reported that the State Chief minister Edappadi Palaniswami had taken the prospect to seek the support and alliance from the Prime minister Narendra Modi, who visited Chennai today for the first time after sweeping massive victory in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Commenting about the support, the state BJP wing hadn't issued any possible statements and the sources had cited that the state wing will abide and will work from the directives and inputs from the party's central leadership.
