In a shocking development, Bollywood actor Sandeep Nahar has passed away at the age of 32 in Mumbai on the evening hours of Monday and it has been suspected that he had committed suicide. Nahar rose to popularity through acting in Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' and Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Kesari'. 

The news of his demise had stunned the fans and celebrities who are paying tributes and expressing condolences to the family members. According to reports, Nahar has died on Monday evening in Mumbai after posting a video on Facebook. The actor was found unconscious at his flat in suburban Goregaon on Monday evening by his wife Kanchan and neighbors. He was then rushed to SVR Hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival. 

The police official said that Nahar had made and posted the video on Facebook around three hours before his death. The body was sent for autopsy and the officials are awaiting the autopsy report to ascertain the cause of his death and how he died. Nahar had posted a video on his Facebook in which he left a long and shocking note. In the video, he said that he was going to die by suicide and stated that no one from his family should be made responsible for his actions. 

In the note that was posted in Hindi, the actor said that he had been going through a lot of problems, both personal and professional. He also had expressed his displeasure over some of his family members including his wife and mother-in-law. He said, "I don't wish to live anymore. I have seen many ups and downs in my life and faced them all. However, I can't bear this trauma. I know committing suicide is an act of cowardice but there is no point in living a life where there is no self-respect and peace". 

He accused his wife and mother-in-law of harassing and blackmailing him and stated that he and his wife had an unhealthy relationship, filled with fights and arguments. He said, "My wife Kanchan Sharma and her mother Vinu Sharma never understood me and they hadn't tried to understand that my wife has a hyper nature. Her personality is different from mine. I can't take it anymore", the actor added in his note that the police said was posted three hours before his death. 

Though he accused his wife, he said that no one should be held responsible for his death. The probe has been launched to come to the conclusion that whether the actor has committed suicide. The reports say that a neighbor of his flat had informed the police that Nahar wasn't opening the door. The neighbors and Nahar's wife had eventually broken the door with the help of a carpenter at around 6 pm on Monday. He was found unconscious and rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead. 

The actor has also added, "Now, I will have to take this step happily as this life has only shown me hell". As the autopsy report is yet to be produced, the police had recorded an accidental death case. In his suicide note that he has written along with a Facebook video, he wrote how difficult it was to get work in Bollywood due to politics prevailing in the industry. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mumbai, Vishal Thakur said, "The body has been sent for postmortem. For now, foul play is not visible. It looks like suicide. However, the postmortem report and the probe will give more details". 

Sandeep Nahar and Kanchan had got married two years ago. Nahar had played as MS Dhoni's friend in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' starred by Sushant Singh Rajput. He also played the role of Buta Singh in Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Kesari'. He was also acted in web series. After the news of his demise was headlined, hundreds of fans and celebrities have been paying tribute to the deceased actor and his death had added to the list of shocking demises in Bollywood. 

It will be worth noting that Sushant Singh Rajput, who played MS Dhoni in the movie, which is based on the biography of legendary Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Rajput had committed suicide by hanging and his sudden demise had deeply shocked his fans and the entire country. Rajput's death had emerged dreadful events in Bollywood and her girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was accused of abetting the suicide. 

Chakraborty had faced charges and she was also arrested based on the complaint from Rajput's father. Rajput's death has been probed by the CBI and months after his demise, his co-star in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' Sandeep Nahar has now passed away in a similar fashion and the police have been probing Nahar's death in the angle of suicide.
