After a long time...When Superstar Rajinikanth meets and greets his dear friend!

In prepping for the next phase of filming for his upcoming film Jailer, superstar Rajinikanth has reportedly journeyed to Hyderabad this week. A snippet for the film was unveiled for his birthday last month. The actor was seen leaving for the set on Saturday night from Chennai International Airport. A major cameo appearance by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been confirmed by the film's creators. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh's former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, visits the actor, who posted the photo to his social media profile.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Superstar posted a picture of him posing with Chandrababu Naidu, he wrote, "After a long time..I met my dear friend and respected Chandrababu Naidu garu and spent memorable time ..I wished him good health and great success in his political life." Sharing the same picture of smilingly posing together, N Chandrababu Naidu posted, "It was a pleasure to meet and interact with my dear friend 'Thalaivar' @rajinikanth today!"

Reports state that while in Hyderabad filming Jailer, Rajinikanth met with Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's home in Jubilee Hills. Supposedly, they checked in on each other and talked about how they were doing and the political climate. Correspondingly, Chandrababu Naidu is assumed to have asked actor Rajinikanth about his health and his upcoming film projects, including 'Jailer.'

Supposedly, production on the film is well underway and has already completed half of the planned scenes. According to reports, the production team has set the summer of 2023 as the premiere date for their film Jailor. Sun Pictures backing up the Jailer, where Rajinikanth portays the role of Muthuvel Pandiyan, a tough prison guard. Anirudh Ravichander is in charge of composing the music.

While Rajinikanth plays the lead, Tamannah Bhatia said to be play the female lead. Yogi Babu, and Ramya Krishnan plays the supporting lead and Kannada veteran star Shiva Rajkumar plays a crucial role in the film. Post Jailer, it is versed that the actor signed with Lyca Productions for two projects. Now the director for Rajinikanth's 171st movie has been notified, which is strongly rumored to be directed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. There have been speculations that Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today, to direct the Superstar in one of his future projects in the pipeline.
