After Dubai tour, MK Stalin is all set to visit Delhi and meet PM Modi: Here's his agenda!

After wrapping up his Dubai tour, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is all set to visit New Delhi with a well-packed agenda, that includes a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Last week, MK Stalin has kickstarted his first overseas visit since taking the office and he flew to Dubai on a four-day tour.

During his tour, he also had visited Abu Dhabi and held talks with UAE government officials, businessmen, and the Tamil diaspora. In Dubai, the Chief Minister had inaugurated the exhibition of Tamil Nadu at Dubai Expo 2020 and during his meeting with the investors, he had invited them to invest in Tamil Nadu. The state government has signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the companies to invest in the state. 

After completing his first overseas tour, MK Stalin has landed in Chennai in the wee hours of Tuesday - March 29 and he is now getting ready for his next tour, this time to Delhi. According to reports, MK Stalin will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on March 31. The Chief Minister will be leaving Chennai for Delhi at around 9 am on March 30 for a three-day visit. 

The officials at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat have said that the appointment has been given to MK Stalin to meet the Prime Minister at 1 pm on March 31. It has been reported that during the meeting, MK Stalin will be inviting Narendra Modi for the inauguration of the newly-constructed DMK's party office in Delhi. DMK's new office has been constructed on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, near BJP's Central office, in Delhi. 

The inauguration of the new office has been scheduled for 5 pm on April 2. The DMK has invited a slew of national leaders for the inauguration. Initially, the party didn't invite the BJP. However, it has later changed its mind and decided to invite BJP as the event is happening in Delhi. Earlier, DMK MP TR Baalu has met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and invited him to the event. 

The reports say during his Delhi visit, MK Stalin will also meet Amit Shah and other Union Ministers on April 1 to extend an invitation for the inauguration ceremony. During the meeting with Prime Minister Modi on March 31, MK Stalin will also be submitting a memorandum to Modi seeking the approval of the Union government for the exemption of Tamil Nadu from NEET. He will also press the Prime Minister not to permit the Karnataka government to construct the dam at Mekedatu across the Cauvery river.
