ADMK fires a senior leader from the party: Here's why!

In a mark to display that the ADMK party is been built with the fortress to block Sasikala's entry to the party, the current leaders are having no second thought when it comes to keeping the fortress strong and the party members under their control. ADMK leaders Edappadi Palaniswami and Panneerselvam have decided to not spare any members who raise voice in support of Sasikala and they have already expelled nearly five members across Tamil Nadu for putting up the posters welcoming Sasikala.

In line with that, the Tamil Nadu ruling party had on Wednesday fired Karnataka State ADMK Secretary Yuvaraj under the grounds of anti-party activities. The firing of Yuvaraj has come days after he had reportedly met expelled ADMK leader VK Sasikala in Bengaluru. Yuvaraj had met Sasikala in a resort in Bengaluru where she was staying after her release from the prison after completing her four-year prison sentence.

According to the statement issued by the ADMK leaders, Yuvaraj had behaved in a way that was against the party's principles. He also had behaved in a manner that would harm the party and he has been fired from the party for defying the party rules and bringing disrepute to the party. By asserting that Yuvaraj has been expelled from all the posts of the party including the primary membership, the ADMK leaders had strictly warned the party members that no one should contact Yuvaraj.

Yuvaraj is the first to get expelled from the party under the charges of meeting Sasikala where there are few members who have been fired from the party for putting posters in favor of Sasikala and welcoming her to the party. Sasikala has got released from Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru on January 27 after serving a four-year prison sentence after getting convicted in the Disproportionate Assets Case. Ahead of her release, she was hospitalized in Bengaluru for ten days after getting tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection.

She was discharged from the hospital on January 31st following which she is currently under quarantine and she will be arriving in Chennai ahead of the legislative elections. The ADMK leaders had several times pressed that the party won't be welcoming her and her arrival won't cause any adverse impact to the party. However, Sasikala had sent a strong message to the ADMK that she is ready for the political resurgence and battle for taking over the ADMK by traveling in the car with the ADMK flag, that was used by Jayalalithaa, when she was discharged from the hospital.
