The Chief minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi Palaniswami is currently in his maiden overseas tour to acquire knowledge and investments from the foreign countries towards the state of Tamilnadu and before he embarked his plane to take the skies, the state leaders of the alliance including the president of state BJP wing Tamilisai soundararajan, the leader of TMC and former Union minister G K Vasan, DMDK Youth wing secretary L K Sutheesh and SMK leader Sarathkumar had met with the Chief minister to convey their wishes to have successful maiden overseas tour.

Adding to the line of the alliance leaders to greet the Chief minister, is well renowned and reputed Tamil actor who co starred with late MGR in many movies, Actor Latha had met Chief minister and had presented him the garland to have successful trip. Actor Latha has been a strong supporter of current Congress MP Thirunavukkarasu and had kept her support alone by failing to join the Congress party but instead, she kept her political title with ADMK, one of the strongest Dravidian parties started by late Chief minister M G Ramachandran. She had shown strong presence in the party after the party had lost its General Secretary and late Chief minister J Jayalalithaa.

Despite of flagging strong presence in the party, she hadn't seen herself in the right place and right importance in the party and it has been reported that the chief minister had held meetings with the leading ministerial colleagues with regard to spreading the nets to fish the true supporters and cadres of M G Ramachandran, who have been scattered across the state. At this time when Edappadi Palaniswami has been scheduled to pay his overseas visit, Actor Latha had seeked his appointment to meet him to place her wishes and in the wake of watering the move of bringing the cadres of MGR back to the party, the Chief minister had given his time to meet Actor Latha.

She has been accompanied by former state minister Ponnaian while she met with the Chief minister where their meeting had held for fifteen minutes. Its been said that Actor Latha had left with happiness and admiration to have such meet and while we caught upon some of the supporters of MGR who are close to actor Latha, they proclaimed that the cadres and supporters of MGR have been acting as the root of the party and ahead of his demise, the party had isolated his supporters and despite of having been isolated, they stayed in the party but many, who had experienced power and posts when MGR was Chief minister had now sailed to opposite ships, the opposition parties.

But the real and die hard fans and supporters of MGR remained in the party and stayed with their hope on the party symbol, "Iratai Illai". Since the power and the decision making authority has been vested with the current Chief minister Edappadi Palaniswami, he has been working towards fencing the family of Sasikala from getting into the party and for keeping the power in his hand, he has found that uniting the supporters and cadres of MGR is becoming essential and in order to water his move, he has decided to flag the political presence who has been equally familiar as Jayalalithaa and he strongly thinks that actor Latha, who got introduced by MGR, will be of potential change in the party and he has been aiming to bring Latha into active politics to web the supporters and followers of MGR.

By making her presence into reality, Edappadi Palaniswami, after returning to Chennai, will most likely appoint Latha with powerful portfolio in the party with the assignment of uniting the minds and hearts of the party cadres which are filled and admired with MGR.
